Send people to Ekire and earn a share of what they spend. You'll find it under Account → Affiliate in the console.

The Affiliate page: your referral link, the rate you earn, and your three commission balances.

Join

Open the Affiliate page and click Become an affiliate. That mints your code and your referral link immediately — there's no application and nothing to wait for. You get one code, and it doesn't change.

The page shows a link, and the code that sits inside it.

Share the link exactly as the panel gives it to you. It points straight at the sign-up form, which is what makes the code stick. The console's front door carries a ?ref= code through to sign-up as well, so a link to the panel root also works — but anything in between that drops the query string (a shortener, a redirect, a link on another site that doesn't carry it) drops your code with it, and a sign-up that arrives without your code earns you nothing. There is no box on the sign-up form where someone can type your code in by hand, so if it isn't in the link, it isn't counted.

Opening your link stores your code in that visitor's browser, stamped with when they clicked. That stamp is what the attribution window is measured against, so if they wander off and come back to sign up much later, the referral may no longer be credited to you. The credit is attached to their account once, at sign-up, and never moves after that — which also means someone who already has an Ekire account can't be referred.

Use the copy button

The code deliberately avoids 0/O and 1/I so it survives being read aloud, but a mistyped code simply doesn't resolve — the sign-up still succeeds, it's just unattributed. Copy link is the safe path.

When a referral counts

Signing up is not the finish line. A referral stays pending until the person you referred has:

  • consumed a real amount of service — actual usage charges on their account, not a top-up and not a balance sitting untouched; and
  • held their account for a while.

We re-check pending referrals on a schedule, so one flips to qualified shortly after both are true rather than the instant they are. Your page shows qualified / total so you can see how many have crossed the line.

The joining bonus

The moment a referral qualifies, both sides are credited: a welcome bonus for the person you referred, and a reward for you. Both arrive as wallet credit on the respective accounts — credit to spend on Ekire, not cash you can withdraw. It's separate from commission, and it lands once per referral.

How commission works

Once a referral has qualified, you earn a percentage of what that customer is charged for usage, for a set period after they qualified.

  • The rate you see is the rate you're paid. The percentage on your Affiliate page is your effective rate — it already includes any volume bonus you've earned — and it's the exact figure commission is calculated from. If your rate changes later it applies from then on; commission already earned keeps the rate it was earned at.
  • It's a share of usage charges — the metered lines on their account, the same ones that appear as charges on their own ledger. Adding funds isn't spending, so a top-up by itself earns you nothing.
  • Only on money they actually paid. Usage covered by promotional credit — their welcome bonus, a promo code, an account credit we granted — earns no commission. What you can earn on a referral is capped at what that customer has genuinely paid in.

Your three balances

BalanceWhat it means
PendingEarned, but still inside the hold window — not payable yet.
AvailableCleared the hold and ready to be paid out.
Paid outWhat you've been paid, lifetime.

New commission always lands in Pending first. The hold is there so the underlying money has settled before we pay it out: it covers the period in which a card payment can still be refunded or charged back.

Refunds and chargebacks reverse commission

If a payment that funded the usage you earned on is refunded or charged back, the matching commission is reversed. The reversal uses the same rate the commission was earned at, and never takes back more than that referral actually earned.

A reversal comes out of your Available balance. If it's bigger than what's available, the balance goes negative and future commission has to clear it before anything becomes payable again.

Getting paid

Payouts are run by our team — there's no "withdraw" button on the page. Once your available balance clears the program minimum, we settle it.

  • Into your Ekire wallet — lands immediately as credit, and needs nothing extra from you.
  • To an external account (PayPal or bank) — needs your tax details on file and a verified identity. These are sent by hand and take a few business days. If a transfer fails, the commission goes back to your available balance so it can be paid again.

Add tax details from the Tax details card on the Affiliate page: a W-9 if you're a US person, a W-8BEN or W-8BEN-E otherwise. Your tax ID is encrypted — only the last four digits stay readable.

Cash leaving the platform is the part with paperwork

Tax details and identity verification are only required for external transfers. Taking your commission as Ekire wallet credit needs neither.

The rules

  • Don't refer yourself. A second account of your own, or an account you set up and operate on someone else's behalf, is not a referral.
  • Referrals are reviewed. We check them before anything is paid, and one that looks wrong is put on hold pending review rather than paid out. If a referral of yours has been sitting longer than you'd expect, open a ticket and we'll tell you where it stands.
  • A suspended affiliate account earns nothing. While it's suspended no new commission accrues on any of your referrals, and the referral reward isn't paid.
